Pune is blessed with classic blend of culture, history, education and industry, supported by climatic friendliness. Naturally, the city has remained the most favourite dwelling place for people from all walks of life. For more than three decades the realty business has established a strong foothold on city’s business landscape.
That said, the overall realty market witnessed a slowdown during the last year. But despite general gloom Pune market has shown resilience primarily because of high demand from IT & Engineering sectors. New residential projects in Pune, are launched by Pune builders to cater the demands for different segment. Exclusive high-end schemes are introduced by Top Builders in Pune. At the same time budget homes are rolled out by builders in Pune. In short, Pune properties are coming up as unique combination of different social and cultural crusts. Prices were found soaring in certain localities, whereas in certain areas dominated by middle income group they have remained stable. Therefore, making a property in Pune is still not so much out of reach for a common man.
Commonfloor’s Annual Realty Report reveals that builders in Pune launched about 230 projects during the last year. Classification of these Pune properties further reveals that 29% of these projects came up in Western region & 23% were launched in Eastern region. The southern region witnessed rise of 22% of new residential projects in Pune, whereas in the central part of Pune only 5% projects were launched by Pune builders.
Analysis of this data reflects that largely mid-sized projects (units below 500) almost 90% of total project supply. This underscores the fact that Pune is set to enjoy lot of supply of ready possession properties in 2015 & 2016.
